Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By entering the House of Avatars environment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). House of Avatars is a service provided by Jameweb. If you do not agree, you must depart the realm immediately.

2. Zero Tolerance Policy (UGC)

In accordance with Apple Guideline 1.2, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content. You may not use the chat or avatar features to share content that is:

  • Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited.
  • Sexually explicit or suggestive.
  • Harassing, threatening, or intended to incite violence.
  • Promoting illegal activities or substances.

Violators will be permanently banned within 24 hours of a confirmed report.

3. Safety & Moderation Tools

Users are provided with internal tools to self-moderate their experience:

  • Blocking: Users can immediately block any other participant. Blocking hides the messages and avatar of the blocked party instantly.
  • Reporting: Users can flag any participant for review. Our moderation team (Hosts) reviews all reports within a 24-hour window.

4. AI Interaction Disclosure

House of Avatars utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI/Anthropic) to power non-player characters (NPCs). Interactions with these NPCs are processed by these third-party providers. By chatting with NPCs, you acknowledge that your input is shared with these services to generate responses.

5. Account Deletion

You have the right to leave the House permanently. Users can initiate immediate and permanent account deletion via the Settings menu within the application. This action removes your profile and associated credentials from our active database.

6. Age Requirement

House of Avatars is rated 17+ due to the nature of unrestricted user-generated chat. By using the app, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
